Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Compare existing data and emerging clinical trial data that focus on the efficacy, safety and tolerability of specific second-generation antipsychotics in children and adolescents with a spectrum of psychiatric disorders
- Evaluate the differential propensity of second-generation antipsychotics for causing metabolic adverse effects and the clinical significance of these differences
- Implement appropriate management strategies using second-generation antipsychotics in children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders

Pre-registration is encouraged at www.scimedny.com/cpnp2009a>. Pre-registrations are honored for the first 15 minutes of the event. After that walk-ins are accepted until the meeting space is full.
Accreditation and Designation of Credit
SciMed is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program will award 1.5 contact hours (0.15 CEUs) of continuing education credit. SciMed complies with the Criteria for Quality for continuing education programming.
