Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the economic, emotional, and physical impact among patients with schizophrenia who demonstrate poor medication-taking behavior.
- Manage the pharmacologic treatment of patients with schizophrenia to improve antipsychotic medication adherence through the use of innovative treatment strategies and dosage forms.
- Implement nonpharmacologic strategies to improve medication-taking behaviors in patients with schizophrenia.
- Recognize systems-level barriers that may hinder delivery of ideal pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment in patients with schizophrenia.

Pre-registration for this symposium is not required. Registrants will be welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis. Although it is not anticipated that CPNP attendees will be turned away, please arrive at Grande 1-3 as early as possible to ensure a seat.
Accreditation and Designation of Credit
Creative Educational Concepts, Inc (CEC) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
