Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Outline seizure presentation, etiology, and clinical concerns in a variety of patient populations.
  2. Strategize evidence-based treatment regimens for seizure management in various clinical situations including patients with psychiatric and medical comorbidities, children, women in childbearing years, and the elderly.
  3. Apply clinical pharmacy principles to evaluate clinical cases and appropriately monitor treatment for seizures and epilepsy.

Pre-registration for this symposium is not required. Registrants will be welcomed on a first-come, first-served basis. Although it is not anticipated that CPNP attendees will be turned away, please arrive at Grande 1-3 as early as possible to ensure a seat.

Creative Educational Concepts, Inc (CEC) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
