Lodging and Travel for 2011 Annual Meeting

Phoenix

America’s fifth-largest city still has real cowboys and rugged mountains and the kind of cactus most people see only in cartoons. Phoenix is the gateway to the Grand Canyon and its history is a testament to the spirit of puebloans, ranchers, miners and visionaries. Phoenix offers the convenience of hundreds of daily flights into and out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport (6 miles from the host hotel) and the natural beauty of the Southwest, an outdoor lover's dream made real.

The AAA Four Diamond Arizona Grand Resort is the leading Arizona family vacation getaway and Southwest meetings destination. The resort and conference center offer spacious suite accommodations, an 18-hole golf course, athletic club, spa, salon, an award winning 7-acre water park, and seven unique dining venues. The spacious and comfortable sleeping rooms and meeting space set the stage for a relaxing environment allowing you to soak in all of the knowledge and information shared during productive work days. Coupled with a warm climate and the beautiful backdrop of South Mountain Preserve (the largest municipal park in the world and the second most visited tourist attraction in the state), this is a meeting you won't want to miss.
