Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this application-based activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Define optimal outcomes in Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) as compared to suboptimal response and examine the impact on clinical, economic, and humanistic outcomes.
  2. Recognize the predictors, mediators, and moderators of optimal outcomes when treating complicated depression scenarios.
  3. Interpret evidence for treatment strategies when conventional antidepressants fail.
  4. Develop evidence-based treatment strategies to enhance outcomes in MDD in a variety of health system settings when initial therapies are insufficient.

Accreditation and Designation of Credit

Creative Educational Concepts (CEC) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This application-based activity has been assigned ACPE # 0245-0000-11-002-L01-P and will award 1.5 contact hours (0.15 CEUs) of continuing education credit. CEC is in compliance with the Criteria for Quality for continuing education programming. Statements of credit will be issued to those participants attending the activity and completing a CE request form.
