Student Programming/Grant Program
Sunday, April 29
The purpose of this networking session is to give student and PGY-1 resident members of CPNP an opportunity to meet and discuss topics related to residency obtainment with current Residency Program Directors (RPDs) or representatives of the residency programs listed within the cpnp.org residency list. The session will begin with a brief 10-15 minute panel session discussing tips/suggestions on successfully obtaining a residency position (such as, CV development, development of short/long term career goals, and interviewing tips). The remainder of the session will be dedicated to four 15-20 minute networking roundtable sessions where interested students and current PGY-1 residents can sit down with Residency Program Directors from various PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Programs to network and to discuss the opportunities available at each practice site. Then at the end there will be a 15-20 minute wrap up session where attendees can ask any remaining questions of the entire group.
