BCPP Recertification Products

Current Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacists (BCPPs) are required to recertify every 7 years. Recertification assures the public and the profession that BPS-certified pharmacist specialists undergo periodic evaluation to verify that their knowledge and skills are maintained. Recertifiers must:

  • Achieve a passing score on the 100-item multiple choice BPS recertification examination, based on the content outline of the certification examination; OR
  • Earn 100 hours of continuing education credit provided by a professional development program approved by BPS.

The only BPS certified provider of BCPP recertification education is the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP) offering the following 3 products annually in the ACPE and BCPP Recertification credit increments noted.
