DISASTER IMPACT ON THE PSYCHIATRIC PATIENT: A PREPAREDNESS TOOLKIT

In the aftermath of a disaster, healthcare workers may find access to usual resources, including medications and patient information, are no longer available. Based on one practitioner’s experience with a Hurricane Katrina triage center, a disaster preparedness toolkit to address the needs of persons with mental illnesses was developed for use as a component of disaster preparedness by mental health professionals to address the needs of this special population following activation of disaster plan.

Treatment of Maladaptive Aggression in Youth (T-MAY) Toolkit

This tool kit based on a consensus conference organized by the Rutgers Center for Education and Research on Therapeutics provides an evidence-based approach for clinicians treating children with overt aggression.
