Program Philosophy

The LVAHCS develops trainees into competent, independent practitioners. Through precepting and learning experiences, the resident will practice with a high level of independence while still being engaged in a supportive environment.

Site Special Features

Residents will have the opportunity for off-site rotations in order to have a more complete experience (ex. chronic psychiatry at Eastern State Hospital). Residents will have the opportunity to engage in didactic education at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy.
