Product Summary

This product is ideal for use by faculty, preceptors and others responsible for teaching trainees about psychiatric and neurologic pharmacotherapy topics. The cases developed for each disease state are written at various levels of complexity so that the learner and/or teacher utilizing the cases can select the learning tool best suited to the level of expertise of the learner and desired learning outcomes. The levels are:  

  • Non-Specialist
  • Intermediate
  • Specialist

The product consists of 33 complete cases in PDF format for your ease in dissecting into individual pages/segments as desired. Cases were authored from the timeframe of fall of 2013 through August of 2015. Each case contains:

  • Learning objectives
  • A suggested reading list with the 2014-2015 Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Course serving as suggested reading for most non-specialist and intermediate level cases. No suggested readings are provided.
  • The case itself
  • Twelve to fifteen assessment questions with answers and answer rationales/justifications
  • A referenced case key complete with comprehensive tables
