Target Audience

The course consists of review and completion of a patient case study. At the conclusion of the course, an evidence-based key will be provided for the case.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify clinical features and treatment issues as applicable to patients with complex and/or treatment resistant insomnia.
  2. Evaluate evidenced-based data regarding current and novel treatment approaches to address clinical needs of patients with insomnia.
  3. Apply evidence-based research findings to the clinical care of patients with complex and/or treatment resistant insomnia.
  4. Tailor individualized treatment plans for patients with insomnia and multiple comorbid disease states and drug-related problems to improve treatment outcomes.
