General Information

Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract to the 19th Annual Meeting of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP) to be held April 17-April 20, 2016, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Posters will be displayed April 18 and published on and in the June 2016 issue of the Journal of Pharmacy Practice. The abstract submission center is closed; you can browse all accepted abstracts here.

The 2016 Poster Presenter Handbook provides the most important details for abstract authors. It contains deadlines, submission requirements, poster guidelines, and example abstracts. Download it and review the information carefully.

Scientific Poster Sessions

The CPNP Scientific Poster Sessions are back and bigger than ever in 2016! The CPNP Abstracts and Awards Council is please to feature 224 posters and will continue with a two-session format to better support the growing number and diversity of posters being presented. Watch the schedule carefully to ensure you make it to both sessions. The poster hall will be open for viewing throughout the day on April 18, and the award finalist posters will be manned during both poster sessions. Browse all accepted abstracts.

Scientific Poster Session 1: Research Trainees
Monday, April 18, 2016, 9:15-10:15 a.m. in Broadmoor Hall B

Over 90 students, residents and fellows will present their posters on Monday morning. We hope you can attend this session to provide feedback and insight to the trainees, and to encourage the next generation of neuropsychiatric pharmacists as they get started. The session may also help to generate new ideas for future research topics of your own, and to allow you to network with other colleagues perusing the scientific posters. Everyone can benefit from seeing the diversity of practice experience within the profession from across the country in a variety of practice settings.

Scientific Poster Session 2 and Award Announcements
Monday, April 18, 2016, 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Broadmoor Hall B

Wrap up Monday with our cutting-edge scientific poster session. As the 1 hour session concludes, the CPNP Research and Practice Awards will be presented at 5:30 p.m. to the best posters based on the platform presentations given during the day. During the poster session, join in honoring Ray Love during the Outgoing President's Reception. It is a high-energy evening of new ideas and new connections.
