Continuing Education for Pharmacists

The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education for Mental Health First Aid. This 8-hour course will provide 8.0 contact hours (0.8 CEUs) of continuing education credit, and participants must attend the training in full.

Support for Mental Health First Aid is proudly provided by the CPNP Foundation

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour certificate program developed to teach participants how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it helps trainees identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. The workshop will be offered to students over two, half days. The workshop is supported and subsidized by the CPNP Foundation. Part 1 will begin on Saturday, April 6 from 1:00-6:00 PM. Part 2 will take place the following day, Sunday, April 7 from 8:00-11:15 AM. To obtain certification, participants must attend each session in full.

Following the event, participants will receive a certificate from Mental Health First Aid USA acknowledging certification which is valid for 3 years.
