Session Time and Location

The live session is complete.

Target Audience

This course is designed for pharmacists, nurse practitioners or other health care professionals involved in the comprehensive medication management of psychiatric and/or neurological patients.

Session Summary

Pharmacists do not typically receive training on transgender issues within PharmD programs, and furthermore may or may not be exposed to patients in this community during post-graduate training. As awareness of gender issues is growing, pharmacists require training and education in order to competently provide health care to these individuals and foster meaningful collaboration with other health care providers.
