CPNP 2020 in Dallas Canceled but Transitions to Virtual CPNP 2020

With the CDC guidance issued 3/15/2020 recommending the cancellation of events exceeding 50 individuals as well as the Dallas, Texas ban on events, the CPNP Board has made the decision to cancel CPNP 2020 in Dallas, April 26-29 and transition the event to Virtual CPNP 2020. We deeply appreciate the patience all of you exhibited while we waited for the CDC and City of Dallas to provide guidance.

CPNP is now rapidly planning for delivery of Virtual CPNP 2020 programming during the same week of April 27-May 1. Learn more about the transition.

How do I earn ACPE credit during Virtual CPNP 2020?

Virtual CPNP 2020 is a hybrid event with some of the sessions presented live during webinar from April 27-May 1 and some pre-recorded and launched on April 27. For sessions presented via live webinar during April 27-May 1, participants can earn Live ACPE credit (L code) by completing individual session evaluations no later than May 7. After May 7, Live credit will no longer be available. Instead, the recordings of all live webinars will be posted online and courses then become home-study credit per ACPE guidance (H code). Home-study activities can provide credit until April 26, 2022.

For pre-recorded presentations launched on April 27, 2020, Home-study credit will be available April 27. Credit can be obtained by successfully completing a short exam and evaluation. Credit will be available until April 26, 2022.

How do I earn BCPP Recertification credit?

To earn BCPP Recertification credit, attendees must additionally purchase the Clinical Application Series and successfully complete an online examination by October 27, 2020 for the 5 sessions prepared by the Recertification Editorial Board. The 5 BCPP recertification sessions will be presented via live webinar April 27-May 1 and then converted to home-study activities after May 7. The Clinical Application Series BCPP recertification exam is separate from any examinations or evaluations that are completed for any live or pre-recorded presentations launched during Virtual CPNP 2020.
