Product Theater Opportunities

CPNP is pleased to offer your company an opportunity to present new research findings on products, give product details and evidence, and/or highlight new products to a key audience at CPNP 2022. Successful programs have included expert, evidence-based presentations from peers, details of new research, and in-depth discussions on particular products and their use in improving patient outcomes.

Specific time slots have been designated for product theaters or symposia each day of the meeting and are available for qualified and accepted proposals. No CPNP programming or events occur during these times unless noted. Attendance at these activities varies and is dependent on the topic, speakers, and the time slot selected as noted below. These sessions are promotional and are not eligible for continuing education contact hours. Product Theaters must be delivered by company-designated speaker(s). All programs must be in compliance with federal and state laws that regulate the marketing and promotion of reimbursable health care products. Product theater slot assignments are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Product Theater Fees Include

• CPNP website and conference schedule listing
• Inclusion in the printed conference program schedule and in verbal announcements
• Listings within CPNP's monthly electronic registrant and membership e-blasts

• One-time use of registrant mailing list for invitation issuance only
• Meeting room and set-up at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter
• Registration desk outside the industry event room
• Access to a speaker ready room
• QR coded badges for efficient scanning of attendee badges via cell phone
• Live stream of the in-person session to virtual participants logged into the CPNP web site with a free or CPNP member user account. The live stream will consist of the content appearing on the projector screen, as well as the audio. It will not include any interactive elements for virtual participants.
• Virtual participant list (name, credentials, city, state) is provided within 2 weeks after CPNP 2022
• MP4 recording of the live stream is provided within 2 weeks after CPNP 2022
• Audiovisual and staging to include:
  • 10,500 square foot ballroom set banquet style for approximately 450
  • Floor to ceiling black drapery behind the stage
  • One (1) 24’ (W) x 12’ (D) stage riser with a head table for three and a podium
  • Two (2) Projectors with rear projection, 7k lumens
  • Seven (7) Speakers
  • One (1) Podium microphone
  • Two (2) Wireless microphones
  • Stage lighting package and LED up-lighting package
  • One speaker timer, presentation remote, confidence monitor
  • CPNP's complimentary wireless internet access (lower bandwidth)

Product Theater Guidelines

• Product Theater applications will be reviewed and approved by CPNP to ensure information is suitable for conference attendees.
• No competing events are held during Product Theaters, with the exception of the Monday and Tuesday breakfast slots when a limited audience community meeting may be offered.
• All events, with the exception of the Monday mid-afternoon slot, must provide an appropriate meal. Meal expenses are the responsibility of the product theater sponsor, not CPNP.
• CPNP will assign one dedicated meeting room to Product Theaters. This room will be set banquet style (rounds) for approximately 450 attendees.
• With the use of one dedicated meeting room for all Product Theaters and with a tight schedule, a standard room set and basic audiovisual package are required and are included in the fee.
• Product Theater providers must use CPNP's preferred audiovisual provider for additional equipment and services.
• Once CPNP confirms your meeting room, time slot, and topic, all arrangements and expenses for catering (not applicable for Monday mid-afternoon slot) and other meeting services will be the responsibility of the supporting organization or their assigned contractor.
• A speaker ready room is provided.
• In-person attendance must be open to all CPNP Annual Meeting attendees and is only available to individuals registered for the CPNP Annual Meeting. Attendance can be capped with permission from CPNP.
• Live streaming of the event (audio and event screen/presentation) will be provided by CPNP. Virtual attendance at industry events is open to anyone, including those not registered for CPNP 2022, but it does require creation of a free account to access the stream real-time on cpnp.org.
• If Audience Response System (ARS) usage is included in the event, the cost and coordination is the responsibility of the supporting organization/coordinator. With live streaming to virtual learners, use of an online ARS platform is encouraged with usage instructions detailed in the presentation. The ARS will not be embedded in cpnp.org.
• Speakers for the Product Theater must be registered to the CPNP Annual Meeting for at least the day of the event.
• Meal is limited to 30 minutes and programming is limited to 60 minutes.
• The full CPNP fee is within 30 days of slot assignment. 
• Multiple uses of the same speakers between events is discouraged. CPNP must approve speakers as a result.

All external continuing education programming intended for CPNP members attending this conference must be submitted to CPNP through the satellite symposia or product theater option. No outside events can be held at or in conjunction with CPNP’s Annual Meeting without review and approval from CPNP.

CPNP 2022 will require all attendees and speakers to be COVID vaccinated. CPNP intends to be live in San Antonio but the ever-evolving COVID pandemic will be closely monitored and, if absolutely necessary, all attendees, product theaters, and symposia will be converted to a virtual offering. Other sponsorships would be refunded in full or transferred to CPNP 2023 in Atlanta.
