Continuing Education Credit

ACPE Credit

The College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The SUD Summit 2022 will provide up to 10 contact hours of application-based continuing education credit from CPNP approved programming.

To earn credit, participants must participate, verify their attendance at the programming, and complete evaluations and self-assessment questions. CPNP/AAPP reports to CPE Monitor within days of evaluation completion and provides transcripts online at cpnp.org. CPE Monitor does not accept ACPE credit submissions after 60 days making timely evaluation completion essential.

BCPP Recertification Credit

The Summit is approved for 10 hours of BCPP Recertification credit. To earn BCPP recertification credit, participants must register for this option, participate either live or in the enduring, complete evaluations, and successfully pass a 40 question application-level receritifcation examination at a cut-off score yet to be determined by a panel of experts. The exam must be completed by July 6, 2023. BCPP recertifiers can purchase the Summit and participate either live on October 6-7 and/or via the enduring/recorded offering available immediately after the event or via a combination of live and enduring. Learn more about BCPP Recertification products. BCPP Recertification credit is awarded in the calendar year the assessment is completed. ACPE credit is reported through CPE Monitor within days of examination submission, while BCPP recertification credit is reported to BPS within 6 weeks after the examination deadline.

What if the live stream or a session recording fails?

According to the AAPP Virtual Event Performance & Recordings Refund Policy, AAPP anticipates that AAPP sessions presented virtually for the AAPP Summit will be successfully transmitted to the virtual audience and available as a recording for home-study within 2-4 weeks after the event (unless otherwise noted).

In the unlikely event of a recording failure, AAPP will attempt to re-record session(s) for attendee viewing within 3 months of the event. As long as 75% of AAPP-planned educational session recordings are provided for home-study within 3 months of the event, refunds will not be issued to registrants related to live transmission problems, recording problems, or attendee-specific problems accessing the sessions.

In the unlikely event of transmission failure of industry supported events or non-CE activities (i.e., an industry symposium), refunds will not be offered.
