CPNP is pleased to provide a case series designed to provide hands-on learning in psychiatric pharmacotherapy using patient cases of varying complexity. The cases offer a comprehensive learning experience in psychiatric pharmacotherapy and include a referenced answer key. Thanks to partial grant funding from Eli Lilly, Merck, Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc., and Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc., CPNP is able to provide these cases at the low fee of $15 for 1.5 to 2 hours of ACPE credit. The varying levels of cases are designed for the following audiences:

  • Level 1 cases are designed for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with minimal experience in psychiatric pharmacotherapy.
  • Level 2 cases are designed for pharmacists and other health care professionals with moderate experience in psychiatric pharmacotherapy.
  • Level 3 cases are for specialists and experts in psychiatry.

CPNP also offers the Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Case Series: Teaching Edition. This product consists of all 33 complete cases in PDF format for your ease in dissecting into individual pages/segments as desired and is ideal for use by faculty, preceptors and others responsible for teaching trainees about psychiatric and neurologic pharmacotherapy topics.
