The College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP) Committees and Task Forces are the lifeblood of the organization linking the association with the attitudes and real world of its members. CPNP Committees ensure group participation in problem solving and provide a forum for the many interests within CPNP. The volunteer spirit is so pervasive that more than 1 in 6 members volunteers in some way, whether through committee service, abstract reviews, peer review, authorship, field testing, or other activities.

3 Steps to Getting Involved

  1. Look at the range of committees. A call for committee volunteers is issued each Fall for the upcoming membership year. At least 20 first-time volunteers join committees each year.
  2. Complete your volunteer profile. Selections for both standing and ad hoc appointments are made based on volunteer interests that you identify in this profile.
  3. Watch for more opportunities. The opportunities center lists various opportunities as they arise, and it provides resources for those just getting started. Members will also receive an email when new opportunities are posted.
