Indriani Wang and her husband, Norbert Wang, welcomed their first child, Zoe, on January 14, 2014.

Tawny Smith, PharmD, BCPP, was awarded the 2013-2014 Faculty of the Year Award by the Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Texas Southwestern Austin and Seton Mind Institute.

Heidi J. Wehring, PharmD, BCPP, Assistant Professor, Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC), University of Maryland School of Medicine, has received a 5-year K23 Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). This grant, entitled "Tobacco Craving in Smokers with Schizophrenia," is focused on studying issues surrounding tobacco craving and interventions for smokers with schizophrenia (K23 DA034034-01A1). As a mentored research career development award, several mentors, advisors, and consultants will work with Dr. Wehring on this project, including two CPNP members: mentor Deanna L. Kelly, PharmD, BCPP, Professor of Psychiatry at the MPRC, and advisor Vicki L. Ellingrod, PharmD, BCPP, FCCP, Professor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and School of Medicine.
