  • With LECOM School of Pharmacy in Bradenton, Florida, CPNP mourns the passing of LouAnn Benton, a first year pharmacy student who had a strong interest in psychiatric and neurologic pharmacy practice and attended CPNP 2015. Our thoughts are with the LECOM School of Pharmacy administration, faculty, and fellow students as they say goodbye and celebrate the life of an exceptional young woman.

  • Theo Pikoulas, PharmD, BCPP was in the news talking about the Project Lazarus Chronic Pain Initiative and naloxone rescue recently.

  • CPNP will offer a session at the 2015 ASHP Mid-Year Meeting. ASHP has accepted a proposal by the CPNP Recertification Editorial Board to offer an advanced-level program at the ASHP Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana. The session entitled “The Buprenorphine Debate: An Evidence-Based Look at Current Controversies” was offered for recertification credit at the 2015 CPNP Annual Meeting. The session will be Monday, December 7, 2015 from 4:15-5:15 p.m. and will be moderated by Sudha Narayanaswamy and presented by Bethany DiPaula, PharmD, BCPP.
