Welcome to the resident community! We are still in the inaugural year as a community within CPNP. We are very excited to start providing networking and resources that current psychiatric pharmacy residents and other pharmacy residents can utilize. Our first gathering occurred at the CPNP annual meeting in Tampa last spring. It was great to hear from those who attended what they felt would be beneficial from this community. Some of the topics of discussion included sharing residency projects, setting up networking events, creating a map of where residents are located to facilitate with networking efforts, starting a residency newsletter within CPNP, and volunteering. Our main goals for this year, as it is the start of the residency year, is to grow our membership and engage residents in this community’s efforts.

We encourage residency program directors to urge their new residents (first or second years) to join this new community and get involved! For those who have now completed residency, we encourage you to update your contact information, but you are more than welcome to stay involved with this community. We plan on setting up a conference call in early September to start discussing some of the items mentioned above and hopefully get involvement started early. For those new residents out there, please feel free to contact us at any time with any new ideas or suggestions to improve and build the community! We look forward to this year in CPNP!! Manage your community preferences now.
