The Residency Program Director (RPD) community serves to provide a venue for RPDs to network and share resources with other PGY1 and PGY2 RPDs. During the annual meeting in Tampa, Fl the community discussed current issues affecting residency programs. The community also decided to pursue an online resource center where RPDs could share residency manuals, learning experiences, policies, and more. Recently, this became a reality. The RPD community now has a way to share resources and it can be found by going to the communities page on the CPNP website and selecting either search or share resources. In the upcoming year, the community plans to have 1-2 webinars. Topics to be discussed in these webinars will include preparing for an ASHP site survey, frequently asked questions about site surveys, frequent findings and how to correct these findings, and how to complete a post-survey response. The community would ask if you have any ideas or ways the community could assist in development of strong residency programs, please contact one or both of the RPD community leaders: Troy Moore or Jennifer Bean.
