NEW BCPP Prep Series Offers Numerous Ways to Learn

CPNP is pleased to launch a NEW BCPP prep product entitled the BCPP Prep Series. This new product includes 11 recorded review webinars and a series of question and answer sessions with review book authors/presenters immediately before the spring and fall testing windows.

The recorded webinar presentations are structured to provide a review of the major topics in the psychiatric pharmacy domains as specified by the BCPP Specialty Council in the current edition of the BPS Candidate's Guide. Authors provide an overview of key topics as aligned with the BCPP content outline. Webinars feature vignette-based self-assessment questions with feedback. To obtain optimal benefit, the participant should also purchase the Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Book (check out the bundle cost savings) and have reviewed the comprehensive outline for the specified disease state before listening to the recorded presentation. The presenter will be referring the participant back to the comprehensive outline for complete details on some items.

Six, 1-hour calls/webinars will be delivered by authors of the 2016 Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review chapters in the 6 weeks leading up the spring and fall testing windows. Participants will have the opportunity to pose questions online the week prior to the call and during the call.

CPNP members receive preferred pricing and benefit from even greater savings when they buy the Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review book with the BCPP Prep Series.

2016 Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Book Features Appendix of Med Tables

“Overall I was very pleased with the review course. It does not require much in the way of improvement. It already is, in its current format, a powerful aid in preparing pharmacists for the BCPP exam.”

“The book was the only resource I used. It was very thorough and allowed me to learn lots of information in a structured and easy to understand way.”

The testimonials of recently successful BCPPs about the value of the Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review book say it all. Hands down, the 2016 Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review book is the strongest tool the BCPP candidate can use in preparing for the BCPP exam. In fact, approximately 85% of successful BCPP candidates in 2015 purchased the Review book.

The book contents are structured to follow the three psychiatric pharmacy domains as specified by the Specialty Council in the current edition of the BPS Candidate's Guide. The book includes:

  1. Comprehensive outlines, written as individual chapters, of the most common psychiatric and neurologic conditions tested for in the BCPP exam.
  2. Consistently formatted chapters that include objectives, thorough content, comprehensive reference listings, and self-assessment questions with answer justifications.
  3. Medication tables consistently formatted to provide quick information on dosage forms, FDA Approved Indications, and Dosing, Pharmacokinetic Parameters, Pregnancy Category, and Lactation, and References.

Order yours today to prepare for that rapidly approaching spring BCPP testing window.
