Mitsi Lizer, PharmD, BCPP has accepted a new position as an accreditation services surveyor with ASHP. Mitsi was on faculty previously with Shenandoah University SOP and most recently at the VA in Iowa.
Amber Riesselman, PharmD, BCPS, BCPP, has accepted a new position as Clinical Pharmacy Specialist-Mental Health at the Tennessee Valley VA Healthcare System in Murfressboro, TN.
BPS has announced Specialty Council appointments. Bethany DiPaula and Julie Dopheide are the newest members to join the psychiatry specialty council starting in January of 2016. In addition to many BCPPs supporting our profession within the psychiatry speciality council at BPS, Joshua Cabellero, PharmD, BCPP and Charlie Caley, PharmD, BCPP serve as non-specialist appointees to the nuclear and ambulatory care specialty councils.
Tawny Smith, PharmD, BCPP welcomed a baby boy, Eli, to the family on January 11.
