It seems hard to believe we are winding down the fall days and sprinting to the holidays. It seems equally hard to believe we are 6 months out from CPNP 2018 to be hosted April 22-25 in Indianapolis, IN.
This issue of CPNP Perspectives highlights the many exciting elements of the meeting that will help you in aspiring to reach the goal of CPNP 2018—Advancing the Spectrum of Patient Care. The Program and Recertification Committees have been combing through your feedback to needs assessments and programming evaluations to craft a packed schedule of learning and networking opportunities.

Further enhancing the CPNP 2018 experience is your opportunity to submit a scientific poster and/or a clinical pearl for consideration and selection by your peers. Scientific poster submission is now available and will be live through January 17. Submissions for the clinical pearl session is also live through January 17.
On another important note, I want to highlight the CPNP Psychiatric Pharmacy curriculum paper which published this month in AJPE. Many thanks to our Curriculum Task Force members who worked on this project:
We thank them for this impressive final report and their efforts to contribute to the quality of pharmacy education through this endeavor. Also, I would like to thank the many CPNP members who contributed to the survey on which the paper was based. The conversation continues in the Teaching Community, which all members are invited to join.
Lastly, starting November 1, CPNP active members will have the opportunity to select 3 members of the 2018-2020 Board of Directors. We encourage you to impact the future of your association through your vote and we congratulate the 6 individuals selected for the slate as highlighted in this article.
