Pooling content for CPNP’s biennial Residency Program Director survey and new practitioners, the CPNP Resident and New Practitioner Committee recently launched an infographic touting the rewards and benefits of a career in psychiatric pharmacy. This infographic leads with quotes from new practitioners regarding why they chose psychiatric pharmacy as their specialty. The infographic also showcases the impressive job placement statistics due largely to the substantial need for psychiatric pharmacists to expand access to care as part of a collaborative team improving medication-related outcomes for patients with psychiatric, neurological, and substance use disorders. CPNP members who teach, precept and recruit students in the field, are encouraged to freely distribute and share this infographic.
