There are multiple types of eating disorders with various health risks. Individuals with an eating disorder often have other mental health conditions as well.1 Some of these may include anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The medications used for these conditions may also be helpful in the treatment of eating disorders.
