The CPNP Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Summit 2021 is a 2-day virtual meeting devoted to advancing the care of individuals living with co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders. Although integrating SUD and mental health services is important, effective treatment approaches to concurrently address psychiatric illness and substance use as dual diagnoses are not routinely occurring in practice. This meeting is targeted toward psychiatric pharmacists and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of individuals living with these co-occurring illnesses.
The College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The Substance Use Disorder Summit 2021 will provide up to 7.5 contact hours of application-based continuing education credit from CPNP approved programming.
To earn credit, participants must participate, verify their attendance at the programming, and complete evaluations and self-assessment questions. CPNP reports to CPE Monitor within days of evaluation completion and provides transcripts online at cpnp.org. CPE Monitor does not accept ACPE credit submissions after 60 days making timely evaluation completion essential.
