Personally Identifiable Information

The site collects personally identifiable information when you fill out the following forms: membership application, abstract submission, and meeting registration. The information collected includes name, title, home address, business address, e-mail, and credit card number. Some of this information may be shared on this site as a part of the membership listing. You may restrict the information shown. We use member information from the forms to send EMail, newsletters and event announcements. A credit card processing company is used to process credit cards. All credit card information is used only for billing purposes and is not stored or retained by CPNP. Members may choose to decline receiving future mailings. Aggregated demographic information will be compiled and shared.

Survey Information

Personally identifiable information is optional in our membership surveys and would be used only to contact somebody to clarify an answer. Demographic and profile data that are collected are analyzed and shared with CPNP officers, staff, and membership only on an aggregate basis.

Email to CPNP

Throughout CPNP's site, members are provided the opportunity to communicate with CPNP via Email. We read every message and try to reply promptly to every one. This information is used to reply directly to your questions or comments. Any personal information is only shared with your explicit permission.


Maintaining the integrity and security of all data collected CPNP is obviously very important. Credit card information is transmitted in encrypted form. Personally identifiable information is stored with password protection. CPNP has a strict password rotation policy that is clearly communicated to all staff. Routine backups are made and stored in a secure site that is physically removed from the primary databases to permit recovery in case of a disaster.
