Many psychiatric pharmacists have created valuable lasting connections through CPNP. Even if you are unable to volunteer or contribute to a project, there are still plenty of ways to engage with other CPNP members. These are 7 of the easiest ways to make more connections.

Make Yourself Easy To Find.

Expose as much information as possible to other members so it is easy for them to reach out.

Update Your Community Preferences.

Join every community that seems relevant to your practice. Although most discussion happens in the General Community, joining the other communities helps you connect even more.

Join CPNP on Public Social Networks.

Follow CPNP on Facebook, LinkedIn, and/or Twitter to engage with other psychiatric pharmacists on the latest association and industry news.

Register For Community Lunch And Learn Webinars.

Watch your email for announcements about upcoming webinars. All of the communities have already begun planning webinars for the year, and they provide a great place to participate in discussions with peers in similar practice settings.

Register For Journal Club Webinars.

Pre-register for all 7 of the monthly journal clubs or watch your email for announcements offering specific article references. Either way, these resident-driven presentations will help you stay current on the latest findings.

Share Something.

Go to a specific community and click “Share a Resource” to share a document, toolkit, useful link or other type of resource with your community. Sharing helps to cultivate the community. It encourages others to share as well, and it encourages others to reach out to you on the topic surrounding your resource.

Save The Date

Mark your calendar for April 7-10, 2019. When you register for CPNP 2019, you will be given the opportunity to participate in CPNP Connect, which connects active practitioners with residents and students at the Annual Meeting.
