The student programming track is designed for P1-P3 students. P4 students are encouraged to participate in the resident track which will provide programming on topics relevant to those new to practice.

1:15-1:30 PM: Welcome and Introduction

1:30-2:45 PM: Preparing for a PGY2 Residency as a Student or PGY1

A panelist of PGY2 residents will discuss what a PGY2 residency consists of, how students can prepare to be successful during both residency years, what to expect during a PGY2, and how students can make the most of their time as a resident.

2:45-3:00 PM: Break

3:00-3:45 PM: Pharmacy Practice Specialty Showcase

This showcase will provide the opportunity for students to learn about career opportunities in psychiatric pharmacy. The showcase will feature three practitioners presenting brief presentations about their work in Forensic Psychiatry, Mental Health in Primary Care, and Collaborative Practice.

3:45-4:45 PM: Specialty Roundtable Discussions

To help further expand student knowledge of practice areas in psychiatric and neurologic pharmacy, a variety of clinicians practicing in Forensic Psychiatry, Primary Care, and Collaborative Practice will engage in small group discussions on what it is like to work in the areas featured in the earlier showcase presentations.

5:00-5:45 PM: Student Social Event, “Speed Meeting”

5:45-6:30 PM: Student Chapter Meeting
